The P.E.O. Scholar Award (PSA) was established in 1991 to provide substantial merit-based awards for women of the United States and Canada who are pursuing a doctoral level degree at an accredited college or university.

The online application period will be open August 20, 2019 through November 20, 2019.
To be eligible for this selection cycle, nominees must be planning to receive their doctoral level degree between April 2021 and August 2022. Nominees must also be sponsored by a local P.E.O. chapter. Awards from the P.E.O. Scholar Awards will be paid only for students enrolled in an accredited U.S. or Canadian postsecondary institutions. Study abroad is still permitted, provided the student is enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian institution.
